Q. Where are you located?
A. Our cattery is located 5 minutes north of Highway #1, in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada, in the eastern Fraser Valley. We are one hour east of Vancouver. At present we are the only Birman breeders in the Lower Mainland.
Q. How often do you have kittens available?
A. We are a very small cattery, with only one breeding queen at present. Due to our small size, we foresee having a maximum of two litters next year (February 2010, and perhaps December 2010).
Q. Are your cats caged?
A. No, our cats are never caged. All of our cats are family pets... They sleep on our bed at night!! Monique's kittens are kept with her at all times, with human interaction beginning as early as the day they are born.
Q. Do you treat your kittens as pets?
A. Yes. We treat each kitten with doting love and attention; they become a part of our family.
Q. Are you a registered breeder with TICA, or another cat registry?
A. Yes. We are a registered cattery with The International Cat Association (TICA) as the only Birman breeders in the Lower Mainland. Please see the link below for further information about TICA.
Q. Do you sell kittens for breeding purposes?
A. At this time we do not sell Birman kittens for use in breeding programs. We offer pet and show quality kittens that have been lovingly handled and raised by our family.
Q. What is the cost for a kitten?
A. Please contact us for kitten availability and prices. We will also post kitten info under the "Our Kittens" page as it becomes available.
